City Energy Audit

Through the continued advocacy of the Sustainability Advisory Committee, the City is currently undergoing a comprehensive energy audit. The purpose is to identify cost-effective energy projects and provide the analysis outlining potential cost savings. In addition, the auditor, Schneider Electric, will also recommend financing and serve as the contractor for any energy efficient projects the city chooses to move forward with.

This latest step towards a greener and more efficient Auburn advances the City's goal of reducing the City's carbon footprint in a cost-effective manner. Here are some of the areas currently being analyzed by the Consultant and City Staff:
